Founder and designer Natacha Charles, also known as Mimi by close friends, spent decades in the corporate world before finding herself at a crossroads in 2020. As a single parent navigating uncertainty, she returned to what had always brought her calm and clarity, creating with her hands.
What began as a personal practice of handcrafting chunky knit blankets soon became something deeply meaningful. In the rhythm of making, Mimi found grounding, purpose, and a renewed sense of direction. That practice evolved into Mimi Mesh, a brand built on intention, resilience, and the belief that comfort is not a luxury, but a necessity.
The name Mimi comes from a cherished childhood nickname given to Natacha by her grandmother, symbolizing love, legacy, and care. Mesh represents the thoughtful blending of textures, materials, and emotion, bringing unexpected elements together to create something cohesive and beautiful.
